PureFlo® G50R Disc Capsules (50mm diameter) have been specially designed for simple, quick, and efficient filtration of gases and liquids. Eight different media options can be placed in an all-polypropylene or polyethylene shell construction for excellent chemical gas compatibility. The small, compact design of the filter capsule allows for superior air flow rate and low backpressure. Ideal for vacuum pump protection from contamination. A hydrophobic 1um or smaller micron size should be used for the application. It can be used as a hydrophobic barrier to protect from viral and bacterial contamination. PTFE 0.2um and PE 0.2um rated filters can be used in sterile vent applications with extremely low resistance.
